Day 2 at the Hospital

Brinkley is officially 1 day old today. Can you believe it?!? Brinkley seen her pediatrician this morning and he said everything looks great and we will be able to leave tomorrow. We are so ready to take Brinkley home and see the little man...and did I mention sleep in our own bed?!? It is amazing to me how much Baby Brinkley has already changed just in a days time.... Most of her swelling has gone down from right after birth so we were able to tell a little more about her....She is a very sweet baby....She has dark hair..Looks like she has my nose and Jerron's lips. She is just precious! She seems to be very calm...She doesn't fuss much....Braydon is still adjusting. He doesn't really know what to think about her yet. He had some really sweet moments with Brinkley today and then some that was making mommy very nervous! Braydon has been staying in the care of MiMi and Papa T and loving every mintute of it. I don't know what we would have done without them here. So I know we have already told you, but thanks again Mimi and Papa T for being there for us durring this time. Anyway. Long story short everything looks good and we will be returning home with our new addition tomorrow afternoon. Here are a few pictures from today.

Brinkley was born today at 2:32 pm weighing in at 7 pounds 8 ounces and measuring 20 3/4 inches long. She is absolutely perfect! We are so thankful that God has blessed us with this new addition to our family! Thanks everyone for all the thoughts and prayers today!

Braydon's Special Weekend

This was our last weekend as a family of 3 so we decided to make it extra special for little Braydon. On Friday we met Taylor and Annabelle for a picnic at the park and then went to a few of Braydon's favorite places...for instance...He loves to go to Walmart and get a cookie at the Bakery....Saturday night we went out on the town...We went and ate at Cajun Steamer for dinner , then took the little man to Ben and Jerry's for ice cream. It was yummy! Who do you think enjoyed that more....Jerron or Braydon? :) After ice cream we took Braydon to Learning Express and he got to pick out a new toy. Then on Sunday we headed over to the Rushing's to watch the airshow that was put on at the local airport by their house. They live only a couple of miles from the airport so we ended up able to see everything great from there. Braydon loved watching all the planes. All in all we had a fantastic weekend with the little man making memories that we will never forget!
