Trip To Arkansas

Well last weekend we made a last minute trip to Arkansas. And when I say last minute I mean last minute. Jerron called at about 12:15 and said he was having a bad day and he wanted to make the trip and be around our family. So literally within like 3 hours we were on the road. I have never packed so fast in all my life. We got to see everyone and show off our newest addition! Brinkley got to meet all her great grandparents on this trip. The kids did wonderful on the drive down. Braydon has gotten to where he loves to be in the car and Brinkley slept the whole 6 hours...What more could you ask for?!?!

More Visitors!

Memaw, Papa, Rachel, Aunt Sisa, and Tinsley all came to see us the weekend after Brinkley was born. Braydon was so excited to see them all. I think he was fascinated with Tinsley. :) Here are some pictures from our weekend with them.

Brinkley's 1st Week at Home

Well we made it through our first week of having Brinkley home. Things are going great! Braydon is doing great adjusting to his new baby sister. He is such a wonderful big brother. We are so proud of him! God has blessed Jerron and I with some great kids! Just want to say a thanks to Mimi and Papa T for staying the week with us and helping us get situated with 2 children. We couldn't have made it w/out them. We love you guys and really appreciate it! Another thanks to the Mom's League of Birmingham for all the delicious dinners they have been bringing over! I don't know what I would do if I had to worry about cooking right now. So thanks to all for all your help! Day 2 at the Hospital

Brinkley is officially 1 day old today. Can you believe it?!? Brinkley seen her pediatrician this morning and he said everything looks great and we will be able to leave tomorrow. We are so ready to take Brinkley home and see the little man...and did I mention sleep in our own bed?!? It is amazing to me how much Baby Brinkley has already changed just in a days time.... Most of her swelling has gone down from right after birth so we were able to tell a little more about her....She is a very sweet baby....She has dark hair..Looks like she has my nose and Jerron's lips. She is just precious! She seems to be very calm...She doesn't fuss much....Braydon is still adjusting. He doesn't really know what to think about her yet. He had some really sweet moments with Brinkley today and then some that was making mommy very nervous! Braydon has been staying in the care of MiMi and Papa T and loving every mintute of it. I don't know what we would have done without them here. So I know we have already told you, but thanks again Mimi and Papa T for being there for us durring this time. Anyway. Long story short everything looks good and we will be returning home with our new addition tomorrow afternoon. Here are a few pictures from today.
